Subtitles with Oversteam

Overstream.net

You’ve made a movie in another Language than english? Or you live in an non-english speaking country and made your movie on english? Need a subtitle?

Well, I had this Problem. My Shorts are recorded in german, so I needed a sub. But what now? Render a totally new version, only with subtitles? The flick is already online. So why transcode it another time?

The solution I found was Overstream.net. The only thing you have to do is register yourself an account and you’re ready to go. Yust go to your video.hoster (maybe YouTube, GoogleVideo, Veoh), copy the url of your video and import it. After that set the times where the subs should appear and write them down.

When your done you’ll get an embed code which loads your video and puts the subs on top of it.
