Stu on clipping Part1
Very interesting Post from Stu about Clipping. A lot of backgroundinformation about why exposing to the right side ist the right choice. and why Clipping is bad.
Wouldn’t sign that thesis fully, but I think you should know what you’ll do when overexposing/clipping the whites. I dit it in various shots in my feature and did know what I’ll do with it, so it turned out great. But if you’re not shure what to do with the footage clip to the right but dont everexpose.
