Day-for-Night Scene in Apple FCP HD

Ever needed a Day-for-Night Shot? No time to wait for dawn, or no lights to film a real night shot? Maybe you even noticed afterwards that your shot needs to be placed at night, but didn’t get it while filming. It doesn’t matter why, Day-for-Night Shots are a often used phenomenon in filmmaking. And if you take a look at this upper picture it can turn out really nice.

But night doesn’t only mean blue, it also screams high contrast and desaturated. At StudioDaily you learn how to make it right only with tools available in finalcut Pro.
