In addition to my first D90 Post I have some Links for you. On Vimeo there is a Test Shot done with the D90 that shows the rolling shutter. And it looks good if you don’t get crazy with it.

At dpreview i found another Post, with Pictures and Videofootage from the D90, the same way it came out of the D90. The upper Image here is taken from them. Go there, they have a lot more. I also took some Videofootage from there to test the same thing Dan asked at ProLosts third post or so about the D90. How will the Footage look graded? Will it look good or bad?

I took a short piece from one of the sample videos, loaded After Effects up and gave it a try. I used on board Tools for one Test, and Colorista for two others, one of it slightly graded, one extremly. Then I took some more instances of this footage and CCed it extremly with Magic Bullet Looks.

And this is what I came up with:

Sorry for the slight changings in the exposure, its in the original file. I don’t know if this can be locked, we’ll have to wait till a real videoguy takes a look at this thing. Till now it’s more like: “…oh, and it can do video too”.

Last but not least Mike Curtis from HD4Indies has taken a look at the D90 and compared the D90 with the Red Scarlet.

UPDATE: (which makes the “last but not least up there obsolete) I’ve found a really good Video done with the D90 at Vimeos D90 Footage Channel. The Video just shows the preperation for a Pizza to be made, but looks fantastic.
