First Prototype-Footage

So, I’ve cut the Footage recorded at the Weekend. Just a few short takes.

As the taped together Prototype is very unstable and I had to record everything with the Cam hold upside down (to not have to flip it in post) on wet and slippery Stones in the water the Imagery turned out very shaky. There is also some dust on the Glassscreen, so you’ll everytime see it in focus…

Besides of that the image looks promissing. It has a Vignette of darker and slidely unfocused footage which makes it look touched in post. It’s not. It’s the raw imagery from my hc1 cut and exported as 720p. No effects nor colorgrading.

I’ll shortly do another Test, and then I’ll really work with it in post. This one here is way to shaky for me…

So what’s next? Well, I’m looking for a tele converter, which is a Lens thats build in front of the real lens to just capture the inner spot of it. Im fact it’s a magnifiere which is mounted betwween Lens and Screen. This should make us get rid of the Hotspot/Vignette thing. Wouldn’t matter is it would only be darker, as I always ad a Vignette to my footage, but it shouldn’t be unsharp.
