apps for ipod/iphone

Today I want to tell you a little bit about some apps for the iPhone and/or the Ipod. They are all free and you can get them via the apps store if you updated to the 2.0 firmware.

The first one is one l am using right now to write this. It’s called writingpad.
Basically it’s a notepad like notes, but with a clue. To write you just draw a line onto the virtual keyboard and the software tries to guess which word you meant. Sans it’s quite good at it. You don’t need to worry about double letters or things like spaces or so. The software does the work for you. After you have written your manifest you can send it out to the world via email.
I love the ease of this app. But one thing sucks. You can’t user the writing system everywhere, only inside of the writing pad. And only mail can be feed with the produced text, which is a shame. The software would really good work alongside our next tip.

This one is called wordpress, just as the famous blogging software and service. And basically its the same thing. Well, not really. It’s just an offline writing tool for wordpress with online preview inside safari. So you are able to blog with your iPhone or Ipod if needed with an accurate preview. You can also save drafts, upload images, embed them, add tags, categories, even passwords. Can’t beat the real backend if you can use a real mac/ computer, but on the iPhone/ Ipod it rocks big time.

That’s it for now, there’s nothing more to recommend to you right now, but I will come back to this topic if there is something new to tell. Till then check taptap, a free game which eats time if there’s to much of it.
