I’ve bought a new Cam. A red one
No, not what you think. Or at least what I want you to think. Not a Red One, but a red one. I’ve ordered a Panasonic Lumix GH1. Red colored. As pictured here:
What does that mean for this Blog? Have I turned against RED? Will I not order a Scarlet asap? Will this Blog die?
No!
As I said the Scarlet fixed is the Cam I love and will buy. And even if I put this Post under the Category Competition I don’t think the GH1 really is Competition to the Scarlet.
But she will be a good Companion. Her 4/3″ Chip with the slower f4.0-5.6 Lens will produce a DOF that will mach the Look of the f2.4 2/3″ beautifully. The GH1 is way smaller, can be used where you are not allowed to film normally. And then there is this Webshow I’ll start to produce this Summer where the GH1 will be a big Part of.
